Sekusept Aktiv is a highly effective concentrated product, suitable for manual cleaning, disinfection and sterilization of thermostable and heat-sensitive medical instruments, equipment and endoscopes. It is also suitable for use in semi-automatic endoscope disinfection systems and for use in an ultrasonic bath. Sekusept Aktiv is a concentrated powder that in 100g contains: 50g sodium percarbonate monohydrate and 25gr TAED. The addition of 20g of Sekusept Aktiv powder to 1 liter of water (2% solution) gives us a strong solution > 1000 ppm of peracetic acid that remains stable for 24 hours. Thanks to the revolutionary peroxy balance system, the pH of the prepared solution remains at neutral values (~ 7-8) thus avoiding the stress of the tools, not being oxidizing or corrosive and being safer in handling for the staff. It is compatible with endoscopes and is recommended in the official instructions of the largest endoscope manufacturers such as OLYMPUS, KARL STORZ, RICHARD WOLF etc. but also of ESGE (European Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy). It has an excellent cleaning action even on heavily contaminated tools, thus preventing the creation of biofilm. This avoids the need for persistent brushing that can wear the tool, while saving time and achieving greater savings. Its antimicrobial spectrum includes viruses with and without shell (incl. HIV, HBV, Adeno, Papova, Vaccinia, Polio), fungi, bacteria, mycobacteria and seeds (incl. Cl. Difficile). The high degree of disinfection and sowing is achieved according to the standard EN 13704 with dilution of 2% within 15 minutes. Its concentrated form allows the daily renewal of solutions with great ease and economy of use. Large quantities of ready-to-use containers do not need to be stored, thus saving storage space. Personnel do not need to carry and handle heavy containers at all times with a risk of leaks and skin contact. This significantly improves the safety of use.
