Gastrogenius is a breath monitor that can help detect food malabsorption, sugar intolerances and SIBO.

Gastrogenius is a portable desktop monitor which measures hydrogen (H2), methane (CH4) and oxygen (O2) levels in expired breath samples in response to appropriate substrates.
It helps health professionals to aid in the detection of gastrointestinal disorders like food malabsorption, sugar intolerances and Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO) in a non-invasive way.

A group of patients do not produce hydrogen and would not be detected by Hydrogen Breath Testing (HBT) alone. By performing Hydrogen and Methane Breath Testing (HMBT) using Gastrogenius, can help detect those patients, who don’t produce hydrogen but methane instead or a combination of both.

The additional O2 reading in combination with a real time traf?c light dial and smiley face system helps motivate patients to provide an end-tidal sample.
Gastrogenius provides automatic O2 correction for more accurate results. With instant results, you can save time, without having to wait for lab results.
