The tricycle Wheelchair Bike Duet of the Dutch company Huka was designed and built combining the bike with the wheelchair, to offer people with mobility difficulties the feeling of freedom and comfort of cycling.
The driver controls the bike, while in the front there is the wheelchair.
When you arrive at your destination you can unlock the wheelchair and have a manual wheelchair.
A smart solution to all kinds of everyday situations.
Thanks to the intelligent design of the bike, the pedal and steering wheel are light and smooth when cycling.
The wheelchair is for adults but can also be used for children.
It is equipped with seat cushions and optional side and back cushions.
You can adjust the seat width and depth.
In addition, it is possible to install various child restraint systems using the special adapter that is available.
The wheelchair is equipped with a hip belt as standard for adequate safety.
However, you can choose between different accessories for extra security, such as a hand guard or beam cover.
The Duet bike is available, optionally, with an auxiliary electric motor (PAS-vario).
Various additional accessories are available to adjust the Duet Bike to your needs, such as: adjustable headrest, side cushions to adjust the width of the seat, various fasteners such as hooks or four-point belt, etc.
In addition, the bicycle wheelchair may have radius guards, arms or a reinforced back.
An adapter is also available in which a specially made seat shell can be mounted.

Advantages
The Duet wheelchair is standard equipped with: 3 speeds, double drum, coaster brake, parking brake, wheelbase for wheelchairs and seats.
The front wheelchair can be unlocked from the bicycle and function as a simple manual wheelchair.
The Duet is available, optionally, with an auxiliary motor (PASvario), with the help of which it is easier to pedal and therefore less tedious cycling.
The front wheelchair can be adjusted for either adults or children.
In the basic configuration it is available in three colors: silver, metallic red and metallic blue.
However, you can choose the desired color from a wide range of RAL colors.
The front seat is provided in yellow with blue cushions.
Any other RAL colors are available upon request.
Five (5) years standard warranty on the frame and front fork is provided, while it can reach up to ten (10) years after registration on the official Huka website.
For the rest of the bike, a standard two (2) year warranty is provided.
